At first, we never knew why people liked Zaatar W Zeit. We thought it was just a place for breakfast, offering average Manakeesh. But that's where we went wrong!
ZwZ's dishes are all so fresh and light, you enjoy your whole plate without feeling a heavy load's in your stomach.

A very refreshing sandwich. It's quite light, but it'll fill up your tummy for sure. It's basically labneh spread on sun-dried tomato dough with olives, cucumbers, tomatoes, and fresh mint leaves.

Tender and juicy chicken with spinach, onions, bell peppers, melted cheese, topped with a mild spicy sauce. No need to add anything!

| BBQ Chicken Pizza - 15,500 LBP |
Loved this pizza! The chicken was marinated for a suitable duration and cooked to perfection. The pizza was also topped with olives, fresh mushrooms, green pepper, cheddar and mozzarella cheese, fresh onions and barbecue sauce.
However, the pizza needed more sauce.

What I love about ZwZ's Caesar salad is that it's dressing has a good amount of vinegar that adds a bit of tanginess to the salad.
However, I once asked for a Simply Caesar to take away with me from ZwZ's branch in ABC Ashrafieh and the salad was such a disappointment. The lettuce was black from the edges and it only took me a couple of minutes to open up the bag so it wasn't the effect of the sun.
Had I been closer to the restaurant, I definitely would've left it there!
